Diamond coins (DMD) buy the rumor...a stumble-upon interview with an institutional investor

A Tête-à-tête with an institutional investor regarding the future of Diamond coins (DMD)

Yesterday, out of the blue, not-knowing who actually was answering my questions in our DMD chat channel on dmdcoin.slack.com, I suddenly realized that I was conversing with a benevolent institutional investor. It started with me thinking loudly, and evolved into an hour long interview with him. This is a heads up post for all my 58+ or so followers, if you're interested into buying in on a rumor. A word of caution: please, do your own research before you jump headlong into DMD. At a bare minimum, come to our slack channel and talk to our developers, get a feel of who they are, and get to know the community.

Raison d'être

So here we go. Unknowingly, I started out by throwing raw unprocessed thoughts onto the channel at 2017-10-28 9:35 PM (GMT+1):
"A crazy stupid idea that struck me for DMD, an idea that costs massively of course, but depends on the future BTC price of DMD. And that is, one tries to make it a goal for DMD to be present on ALL major exchanges. Why? so that DMD can be a vehicle for transferring wealth from one exchange to another. Reducing the price, thereby subsidizing transaction costs to maximally, like 100 satoshi/transaction, making DMD the absolute cheapest way of moving wealth from A-B, much much cheaper than anything else at present. Since DMD is present "everywhere" and word will quickly spread that its cheap moving wealth and storage of wealth, making DMD solving not just 1, but 2 real world problems in an easy and simple manner. This costs alot though, but if it works, DMD will take a large leap forward. Dont know how to spread this cost, alot of bribery and contacts have to be used. DMD will be a real competitor to other altcoins, perhaps THE top 20 altcoins of the future. It is what it is, a crazy stupid idea...perhaps that's what it takes to move mountains.
We need to get the attention of the masses BEFORE institutional investors hit the market."

Something in the above thought-process must have triggered our investor to reveal himself. He is called Sensei Kevlar from the Asian continent, 20 years as a trader by his own account, and has known DMD for almost as long as DMD has existed. He wrote 10:06 PM:

"@drdmd I fear I have some bad news for you. You wanted to do the above mentioned -before- we arrived. We're here."

In disbelief and nonchalance, i replied:
"you and me are not institutional investors"

Leading to his timely and classy remark:
"On the contrary..."

I was intrigued. An hour long e-conversation followed where I asked him the following questions:

Do you think the institutionalized investors are in the market now?
What are you planning to do with DMD?
Why not develop your own blockchain, like banks do with ripple? Why use DMD?
What is an investment vehicle and how would it involve DMD coins?
What would YOU as an institutional investor need from DMD now?
Can you see your plans weak spots? Where could it fail?

The bottom line of the conversation was that he thought DMD had all the necessary qualities (brand, storage of value, rarity, scarcity and quality developers) to -essentially- be the mothership of the investment vehicles he and his team was creating around DMD. His team is in the process of gathering more masternodes. After aquiring enough DMD coins and other masternode featuring alt-coins, he would then release a coin, HOPE DMD, in his words, the most precious e-diamond that would be in existence. The release of HOPE DMD would be through an ICO on the ethereum blockchain (ERC20) for sale/investment/speculation after a massive marketing campaign. Contrary to my belief, he remarked that he is interconnected, advises many investors and was in the process of starting a hedge fund. The marketing for HOPE DMD is in the pipeline and would be ready for launch around 3 weeks time from now. He couldn't praise the design of DMD and the DMD developers enough.

Buy the rumor?

Needless to say, I'm heavily invested in DMD coins and do not plan to buy any HOPE DMD anytime soon, but this -if true- has implications for DMD. Please do your research before drawing your own conclusions.
