For the purpose of this “review”, I am not going to talk about smart contracts on the Ethereum Blockchain, or describe the workings of the Bancor Protocol, or even discuss the benefits or drawbacks of limiting the initial (ICO) participation to 100 investors. Although anyone considering involvement in BcShop.IO, should most certainly become familiar with these topics.
As well as revolutionizing the touted software license coding, premium game currency, online event ticketing, and live event ticketing applications, - and there is little doubt it will accomplish exactly that if implemented properly. I will discuss an altogether different application and the impact BcShop.IO could have upon an unlikely industry.
The area where (if implemented properly) I feel BCShop.IO will potentially have a significant if not industry altering impact - will be as a mechanism to buy, sell, and distribute various forms of intellectual property.
Intellectual property proprietors, including but not at all limited to writers, artists, designers, musicians and composers - all of whom are constantly seeking to market, sell and distribute their works, will now have a platform to do so efficiently, without external influence - thereby effectively eliminating many of the obstacles facing each respective discipline.
Although each of these industries (for lack of a better term) will undoubtedly benefit from the services offered by BcShop.IO, the following industry is intentionally absent from that previously mentioned IP ownership list.
Because of the scope of the industry wide impact BcShop.IO could have, it deserves further description and scrutiny overall.
BcShop.IO has the potential to be the driving force in changing the entire structure of how we seek, use, distribute, and pay for attorneys, and legal services in general. Significant “tweaking” would be required in order to accommodate the services of litigation and trial attorneys, but for most other “legal services” like trademarks, patents, copyrights, wills, and even divorces, the existing structure of BcShop.IO would suit perfectly to accommodate all legal industry professionals, and the people seeking them.
In addition to streamlining the exchange of funds through the simplified and efficient payment gateway, cataloging the products and services being offered into a single easy to access location for both vendor and client - attorneys, legal aids, and potential clients would have the added benefit of incorporating the BcShop.IO product and vendor rating system into an industry critically lacking any genuine means to rate their products and services.
“So, when viewing information about a product or a vendor, the customer sees a true-life experience of other customers dealing with this product/vendor” (Whitepaper page 11).
Not only could this be the case within the United States, but BcShop.IO could possibly impact legal processes, means, and methods throughout the world…

Congrats on winning! I really like the thought of using this as a means of copywriting material. As a composer, that can be very confusing and difficult to do. Using the blockchain is a great idea for protecting all original works.

Definitely. Having a distributed ledger payment system for soft services would inject honor into the system, thereby creating a fair negotiation of services.

Sadly, I cannot read minds or hack computers. Smile. So, I guess the universe takes the credit. Maybe it means these things will happen, and usher in a whole new way of doing business.
