UN Looking Into Blockchain Solutions For Afghanistan’s Infra Problems
The United Nations is developing a blockchain-enhanced solution for sustainable urban development for Afghanistan.
The international organization turned to distributed ledger technology (DLT) to develop a robust solution that would help the Afghanistan government in management of land records.
The United Nations Office of Communication and Information Technologies (UN-OICT) will be the UN arm that will be in charge of building a blockchain-based platform that would assist the Afghan government In managing land records transparently and efficiently.
UN is one of the world’s largest and most influential international organization which has now taken numerous initiatives to raise awareness about emerging technology to the world.
