Thailand’s Customs Bureau Plans To Use Blockchain-Based Solution Tradelens By IBM
Thailand’s Customs Department is planning to use IBM’s Tradelens blockchain solution to track shipping in Thai ports.
This was revealed through the Thai Customs Department’s official website which stated its main objective of streamlining operations by managing shipment tracking and information sharing.
Tradelens platform is a blockchain-based solution that was developed by IBM in collaboration with transport giant AP Moller-Maersk.
The vice-president for Indochina expansion and managing director of IBM Thailand, Patama Chantaruck states that their system will provide the Thai Customs Department the right kind of tracking tools which will ultimately result in a more secure, transparent, efficient and simpler workflow.
