New Powerful Ethereum Miner To Hit Stores Next Year
Linzhi, a Shenzhen-based new crypto mining equipment manufacturer is ready to produce its first batch of powerful mining machines for Ethereum and Ethereum Classic.
The company is the brainchild of Chen Min, a former chip design head at Canaan Creative, the maker of the Avalon bitcoin miner, and, according to its founder is completely self-funded with around $3.8 million capital.
Chen wants to create one of the most efficient ethash ASIC miner with a target specification at 14000 mega hashes per second (MH/s) with an electricity consumption level of one Kilowatt-hour.
To put this into the proper perspective NVIDIA’s GTX TitanV 8 card is one of the most profitable equipment with 656MH/s and a power consumption level of 2.1 kWh.
