New Ethereum-Based Ticketing System To Enhance The Industry

Aventus, a digital assets-focused blockchain-based protocol has recently announced a new initiative dubbed as the Aventus Classic, which it described will enhance the ticketing industry to be more transparent and fair.

This was announced last September 12 in one of Aventus Network blog-post on Aventus Classic, a fully decentralized open-source Ethereum-based ticketing protocol.

The same blog-post also announced that the release marks the first step in engaging with the open-source community and Aventus Classic will now be open to contributions from anyone and will no longer be solely developed by official partners of the Aventus Protocol Foundation.

The new open-source ticketing protocol’s release also signals the start of a $15,000 USD prize competition for blockchain developers which was made possible through the partnership with The Satoshi Awards.

Participants are tasked to develop a blockchain-based ticking system and the team that builts the best one will be awarded $15,000 USD worth of Ether and will be presented by The Satoshi awards in mid-2020.
