More Than Half Top Universities Have Crypto Classes According To Coinbase
American cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has recently done a study concluding that student interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain is on the rise and the world’s top education institutions are now offering courses to cater to their needs.
The study shows that 18% of students are reported to be taking a crypto course in 2019 which is twice as many compared to what they have gathered last year.
It was also revealed that compared to 2018 which had only around 28% of students wanting to take courses related to cryptocurrencies and blockchain, the number has increased to 34% of a survey of 735 US students.
What is even more interesting is the fact that these courses are spread across a wide range of disciplines outside of the obvious courses such as computer science and finance/economics.
