Line Integrates BitMax Exchanges Into Its Platform
Japan’s messaging giant LINE has recently launched its own cryptocurrency exchange dubbed as Bitmax, making it accessible to its more than 80 million users in Japan.
This Asian nation has always been at the forefront of cryptocurrency adoption and this recent development just goes to show how far the country has matured in terms of mainstream adoption of cryptocurrencies.
Aside from making the Bitmax accessible within the LINE messaging app it has integrated with LINE’s payment app, LINE Pay and will allow its users to fund their wallets with fiat money.
It is a well-known fact that it takes some time for a cryptocurrency exchange to attract a sufficient number of users, but with 80 million prospective clients readily available this would not be much of a problem.
