Italy To Define Legal Framework For Blockchain Innovation
Luigi Di Maio, the deputy premier and leader of the offices of the Minister of Development has asked the Agency for digital technology (Agid) for details on blockchain adoption schedule.
The simplification decree maps out the implementation of necessary laws that will be the basis of the first legal framework for blockchain technology.
It was being managed by a specialized working group which will be then submitter to the European Commission.
It is widely believed that without a proper legal framework blockchain technology cannot reach its full potential.
