It Is Time For Bitcoin ETF According To Sec Commissioner
SEC commissioner Hester Peirce who is known as 'crypto mom' in wider crypto community for her relatively more progressive stance on cryptocurrencies, has recently titillated the imaginations of cryptocurrency enthusiasts when she told audience at the Consensus conference on Monday that the time is right for Bitcoin ETF.
She adds that the time is right however she thinks that there are still questions floating around the SEC that need to be answered by the crypto community.
Two of the issues that SEC seems to bring up when talking about cryptocurrencies are market manipulation and custody issues.
Her comments comes at the time when SEC is reviewing applications for Bitcoin ETF one of which is due next week is considered by many to have the best chance of getting approved by SEC, the VanEck Solidx Bitcoin ETF which is due on May 21.
