US Legislators to Get rid of Tax for Bitcoin Transactions below $600

Jared Polis and David Schweikert, US state Representatives have filed a bill to allow US citizens to pay to make cryptocurrency transactions without reporting it for tax.

In 2014, the Internal Revenue Service classed cryptocurrencies as property in the US and holders are obligated to report any forms of gains and losses every tax year, no matter how much they are.

If the law is passed then it would create an exemption for crypto payments below $600 beginning next year.
