$1B Worth Of Bitcoin From A Whale Wallet Is Currently Moving

A Reddit user has been posting a series of articles about a $100 billion worth of bitcoin moving actively from a whale wallet address.

According to user sick_silk, the owner of the funds has been moving chunks of 100 bitcoins to other subwallet addresses.

In his very recent post, it was said that the funds are being moved to major exchanges such as Bitfinex and Binance.

The owner is said to be selling some of his coins and some exchanging them to altcoins or mixing it to cover his back in just a matter of 10 days.

Sick_silk mentioned in his last post that surprisingly, the price of bitcoin is pumping since those funds were starting to be moved to the said exchanges.

Tsukuba, Japan To Test A Voting Sytem That Incorporates Blockchain Technology

Tsukuba, a Japanese city is currently the first in the country to test blockchain-incorporated voting system.

Report says that a new online voting system that allows citizens to vote for different social contribution project proposals is currently being introduced.

The government officials are hoping that this voting system will ease administrative processes while reducing crimes such as tax evasion

Abra, A Crypto Wallet Startup Is Now Expanding To More European Users

Abra, a cryptocurrency wallet & exchange startup is currently offering a new method for deposits to more users in Europe.

Citizens in the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) and in some nations in the European Union can now use their European bank accounts to deposit bitcoin to their Abra wallet accounts.

This is made possible through a partnership with Coinify, a cryptocurrency payments processor that enables SEPA bank transfer from the users European bank account directly to Abra's exchange partner.

The deposit process will turn euros directly to the equivalent amount of bitcoin to the user's Abra wallet.

A Japanese Real Estate Company Trials A Cryptocurrency Settlement Platform For Its Transactions

Ruden Holdings (TYO:1400), A Tokyo Stock Exchange-listed company has built a cryptocurrency real estate settlement platform.

The said platform involves Bitcoin and smart contracts to process real estate transactions.

The development and trial of the platform is conducted in collaboration with Blockchain Global Limited (BGL), which started April this year.

The company is also using the NEM test network for time stamping of the contract and Bitflyer's web service & API functions for bitcoin settlements.

A Japanese Crypto Exchange Startup Has Hired A Deutsche Bank Institutional Trader

Yasuo Matsuda, a former Deutsche Bank veteran joined a Japanese cryptocurrency exchange startup, FXcoin Ltd. which was founded by an another alumnus of the German lender.

Matsuda will be the startup's senior cryptocurrency strategist starting this September 2018.

The role of Matsuda as a strategist is to provide analysis of cryptocurrency markets and daily updates on the market's activity.

FXcoin Ltd. is currently still seeking regulatory approval from Japan's financial regulatory watchdog, the Financial Services Agency (FSA).

It is remembered that late December last year, the Chief International Economist of Deutsche Bank has expressed skepticism towards Bitcoin, believing it will crash as a major risk in the global economy this 2018.
