Legislators In Ukraine Declared $47 Million of Bitcoin Holdings
Ukrainian lawmakers were mandated to disclose their financial holdings and three of them declared to have holdings of $47 million in Bitcoin collectively.
The mandate was part of the anti-corruption campaign and disclosures of Bitcoin holdings happened at the time were Ukraine is planning to regulate cryptocurrencies.
The central bank of Ukraine will announce their position regarding legalities of Bitcoin this month.
Big Shipping Companies in Singapore Exploring Blockchain with IBM
Blockchain has always been taken into consideration when it comes to supply chain systems.
Port Authority of Singapore and Pacific International Lines, two of the biggest shipping companies in Singapore, are inking a deal with IBM for the same purpose.
They will be working on the proof-of-concept system using blockchain to improve transparency, efficiency and security of the South East Asian supply chain network.
Postal Business in Thailand will Use Blockchain This Year.
As reported, Thailand Post is currently developing a Blockchain technology and will be using them not later than this year.
This is to enhance their logistics operations by utilizing a decentralized system.
This would allow Thailand Post to accept highly valued packages such as luxurious items as only authorized personnel can access parcels with the use of the blockchain technology.
