Famous Author Robert Kiyosaki Bullish On Bitcoin

The author of a famous financial self-help book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” Robert Kiyosaki has boldly claimed that dollar is scam and called cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin as currencies of the people and that it will outlive fiat currency.

He states that before there was only one currency, the so called reserve currency of the world which is the US dollar however, upon the arrival of Bitcoin or what he describes as “cybercurrency” it is not so anymore.

He goes on to describe gold, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are better hedge against an impending collapse of the financial market.

He calls gold and silver as God’s money, Fiat currency as government’s money and Cryptocurrency as peoples currency.

Stablecoins Gaining Ground In India

More and more cryptocurrency exchanges in India are supporting Stablecoins to minimize the impact of the country’s central bank’s ban on transacting with cryptocurrency.

These stable coins includes TrueUSD (TUSD) and Tether (USDT) which are said to be backed by the USD at a ratio of 1:1 held in research which can be redeemed.

One of the exchanges that have started to support for stablecoins or enhance their services includes Unocoin, one of the country’s largest crypto exchange. Other has followed suite as Wazirx and Zecoex announced that it has introduced TUSD trade for BTC, ETH and XRP pairs. While Zepay another major cryptocurrency exchange in the country have slashed withdrawal fees for TUSD.

Crypto Hedge Funds Growing Fast

In a research conducted by Crypto Fund Research reveals that specialized cryptcurrency funds are launching at a record pace.

There are a total of about 466 cryptocurrency investment funds in which 255 of them are hedge funds, 195 are set up as venture capital funds and 16 represent private equity funds.

At current rates the amount of cryptocurrency funds in 2018 should surpass those created in 2017.

Josh Gnaizda, Founder of Crypto Fund Research expresses his surprise by the result of the research since due to the general bearish sentiment in the crypto space.

According to many pundits, the interest of institutional investors in cryptocurrencies will continue to increase with more regulatory clarity and crypto-related services being offered by reputable crypto companies and traditional financial institution like ICE, owner of the New York Stock Exchange, who has recently announced Bakkt digital asset.

Decentralized Exchanges Will Eliminate Fake Volumes According To Experts

The founder of Waves Platform which has its own decentralized exchange, Sasha Ivanov has recently stated that decentralized exchanges can remove artificial trading volumes of centralized exchanges.

Fake trading volumes of exchanges has gotten the attention of the cryptocurrency community when it was revealed that major centralized exchanges have been faking trading volumes.

The revelation was made by CryptoExchange Ranks (CER) when it investigated BitForex, CoinEx and FCoin in which are all fairly new exchanges and have concluded that BitForex is likely pumping its trade volume using wash trade.

The research also noted that it is fairly easy and cheap to manipulate trading volume through trading bots and wash trading in centralized exchanges.

Trusted Computing For Boosting Blockchain Security

Information technology giant Microsoft has published patent applications indicating that it is looking into the use of Trusted Execution Environments (TEE) within blockchain.

TEE is specified to store “a pre-determined type of blockchain or other security protocol code in a validation code.

Tee Attestation is able to verify participants in the transactions who posses matching information held within the node which is a point of connection that is able to receive, store and send data within the network.

TEE may be used to assist in the establishment of a consortium blockchain network and may also used in assisting to verify blockchain transaction on similar network.

The said blockchain-related patent application had been filed over a year ago back in June 2017.
