Fantasy Sports Platform Now Accepting Crypto
The immensely popular fantasy sports platform, Fanduel, has recently revealed that it would be accepting cryptocurrencies as a form of payment inside their platform.
Any integration into mainstream service providers is always good news for the cryptocurrency community as many companies up until now do now see the value of giving their customers the option to pay with cryptocurrencies.
This initiative was made possible through Fanduel’s partnership with BitPay, the cryptocurrency payment processor, which will be tasked to process crypto payments, convert to fiat and deposit to the account of Fanduel.
Only time will tell if the support of FanDuel will have a positive effect on cryptocurrencies at large but one thing is for sure, slowly but surely, cryptocurrency payment options are becoming more common nowadays and perhaps mass adoption will follow.
