Etoro Adds Ethereum Tokens Into Its Platform
The cryptocurrency wallet of leading social trading platform, eToro, will be adding support for 120 ERC-20 standard tokens according to an official press release from the company.
The first ERC20 tokens to be included in the platform are Maker (MKR), Basic Attention Token (BAT) and OmiseGO (OMG) with others to follow in the near future.
Yonni Assia, eToro CEO and co-founder states that they want to open up investors to digital assets as what they did for traditional markets adding that blockchain will eventually replace traditional services through tokenization.
Its parent firm eToro launched a cryptocurrency buying and selling platform and wallet services in the U.S. back in February.
