Coinme Gets Financial Support From Ripple To Expand Globally
In its bid to increase its market presence globally Coinme has secured $1.5 million funding from Ripple’s Xpring and Blockchain Finance Fund, which is primarily aimed to expand the size of its ATM network.
Coinme has around 2,600 crypto ATMs around the United Staes and has a license to operate in 29 states of the US, planning to expand its local network in the near future.
The company is targeting high cryptocurrency usage territories as it identified the European market, Central American market and South American markets as the primary targets for its international expansion initiatives.
It must be noted that currently, these ATM supports Bitcoins only, however, with this investment it would not be a surprise if the company decides to support Ripple in the future.
