Coinbase Listing Dash

Early last week it was revealed that the U.S. crypto exchange giant Coinbase was exploring Dash as one of the eight cryptocurrencies it took the time to look into for the possibility of getting listed in their platform.

The people at Coinbase must have liked what they saw as Dash is now one of the cryptocurrencies that recently added into its cryptocurrency exchange platform.

Dash is a proof-of-work digital asset that primarily focuses on security and payments and is the first virtual currency approved by Coinbase which includes Cosmos, Harmoney, Waves, Matic, Ontology, and Alogrand.

According to Ryan Taylor, the CEO at Dash Core Group Dash implements a privacy technique Called CoinJoin which has been implemented a number of times on the bitcoin blockchain,

The listing of Dash comes at a time when other exchanges are delisting privacy-centric coins, however, as Taylor has pointed out, the privacy mechanism Dash is similar to what Bitcoin has, inferring that the feature should not be taken differently.
