Boeing Joins Hedera Hashgraph Council
According to news reports online the Aerospace giant Boeing has recently joined the governing council for Hedera Hashgraph.
Hedera Hashgraph is a distributed ledger technology network for enterprises which has currently 9 governing council members making the entry of Boeing the 10th member in the organization.
Boeing will join the ranks of industry giants who have joined the council including FIS Global, Tata Communications, Nomura Holdings, and IBM.
Each of the member council runs its own node operating the Hashgraph and will be able to use the Hedera Consensus Service once the service launches next month.
Boeing is considered the largest commercial aircraft manufacturer and a major U.S. and international defense contractor which surprisingly until recently has made limited moves in the blockchain space until now.
