A publicly-listed mining firm Argo Blockchain has recently installed 1,000 more mining machines which take the company’s total number of miners to 7,000.

In addition to these miners, the company plans to add an additional 6,000 more miners in the next two quarters.

Argo is publicly listed on the London stock exchange under the ticker symbol ARB which earlier last month revealed to have signed a deal to increase its electricity supply by 357% which could power an additional 15,000 machines.

If it were to achieve its plan of increasing its miners to 15,000 machines, this would take the firm's total hash rate to 1,360 Peta hashes making it the largest publicly-listed miner.

Since May of this year, the company’s stock price increase by 192.3% from 3.25 GBP (4.06 USD) to 9.5 GBP (11.85 USD) per share, given that Bitcoin mining right now has proven to be quite a profitable endeavor.
