1- Twitter To Ban Crypto-Related Ads?

Both Facebook and Google have lately banned cryptocurrency related ads. Is Twitter next?

Sky News has reported today, that Twitter is considering implementing a ban on cryptocurrency-related advertising in two weeks according to an as-of-yet unconfirmed report. More #FUD, YAY!

2- The ‘Mt Gox Whale’ Explains His Crypto-Selling Strategy

The Mt.Gox bankruptcy trustee Nobuaki Kobayashi has revealed some critical information about how he’s been selling the BTC and BCH he has in his possession.

The news may comfort those who believe the remainder of the Mt Gox sales will crash the market. According to Kobayashi, he has been consulting cryptocurrency experts and selling in a manner that would avoid affecting the market price.

3- Big Bank Partners With Coinbase

One of the biggest cryptocurrency wallets and trading platforms, Coinbase, has just completed a deal with one of the biggest banks in Britain, Barclays.

"Coinbase believes that the new partnership with Barclays will make trading Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies much easier and faster for British investors and traders."

Before the partnership, British users of the cryptocurrency exchange would have to wait a couple days before their funds would arrive in their bank accounts.

4- US Congress Positive About Cryptocurrencies

During a time when there is a lot of negativity surrounding cryptocurrencies, the new report from the US Congress has been rather refreshing. They called last year the ‘year of cryptocurrencies’ and called for lawmakers and industry stakeholders to cooperate further on the technology.

The yearly Joint Economic Report was particularly positive about cryptocurrencies and states that it can go some way to fight cybercrimes, as well as becoming a potential tool to protect the nations economy and its infrastructure. The report states that this should be the priority for both lawmakers and regulators, who, along with the public should be open to becoming more familiar with both cryptocurrencies themselves and the blockchain technology that is behind all of them.

A lot of news, as usual. Mostly positive, apart from the Twitter banning crypto ads FUD... It's definitely nice to see some positive news from the US Congress. Especially, when their view on cryptos has been quite negative so far. Maybe this is the turning point of governments starting to change their minds :)?

Markets are down, **a lot. Many people are starting to believe that the retest of $6,000 for Bitcoin is necessary before new growth. But hey, it's a great time to buy some cheap cryptos! Ripple, Cardano, Neo, Bitcoin, and pretty much every crypto is down to a 'bargain of a deal'-level. What cryptos are you buying? Are you still HODLing, or what's your current plan right now?
