I made good money in the crypto market around few hundred thousand USD, it was July 2013 Bitcoin price was around 70 USD I had 10K USD sitting in my bank account. Crypto market wasnt popular like today but I realized that this could be a good opportunity for me to get out of the rat race.
I didn’t invest the all my 10K as I was still too scared to lose it and today I can tell you I lost potential earning of nearly 300K USD. The good thing is I did invest 5K USD.
Four months later the Bitcoin was already above 700 USD it was an amazing rally. I knew that I made mistake and should invest all my 10K but I can’t complain.

The coin needs to be the driver of the ecosystem, It must be clear what is the use of the coin. Same as in stock exchange, let's say that you leave in Japan and you want to buy Google shares, you must convert your currency to USD and only then you can buy the shares. the outcome increases in the demand for USD, the more people want to buy Google shares the more the demand for USD increase.

Who is the team?

this might appear very stupid for some people but in the end of the day when you buy Crypto coin you are also investing in the team who runs the business and what actual experience they have. A good product is very important but good management one that you can trust is even more important. Who is on the team is important but that it's not a guarantee for success unless they have proven track records of business development.

The liquidity

Many crypto coins issued in the last year but you need to know two important things: when the coin will be traded and where.
It is not enough to buy a coin in a good deal, to make a real profit and not on the paper you need to be able to sell it to someone at the price that you wish to sell, therefore it is important to know where the coin will be traded.
