The big hurdle for institutions will be regulation in the short term. So far, they have opted to invest in the infrastructure to avoid the regulatory environment today for ICOs and the sorts. It will be interesting to see how they get involved directly into the Crypto assets as they will probably opt to use OTC exchanges so may not be clearly visible where we typically see volumes and prices like coinmarketcap. Also agree on the potential of security tokens; can't wait for tZero to get out there...
