Why did I sell most of my Ethers for Bitcoins?

Several days ago, the widely used multi-smart smart contract was hacked. It is no more than 100 lines of code and is written by the creator of Solidity - Gavin Woods.

I was thinking if the developer of language and technology could not write a bug-free code in that language. If all the "specialists" who are behind the great ICO ideas send their millions of smart contracts, long 60 rows, without being able to notice that it is a glitch - what level of expertise are we talking about in this eco system?

So, tomorrow, the implementation of the ICO's tangled smart contracts will begin, which will be tens of thousands of lines long - who believes they will be bug-free after a 60-line straightforward logic smart deal has taken hundreds of millions of ethers And had a bug in it?

And when these bugs become the 10th in number, when you lose hundreds of millions, who will believe in this technology, no matter how strong the promise it seeks?

That's why I think the long term ether is doomed.
I'm following a lot of solid people in a tweeting and I'm crazy about their constant disregard for ether lately, even when the price has reached $ 400. Just the attack vector of ether is so big that their position is unspoiled over time. I very much respect Gavin Wood, but after this, I have no other explanation except that the approach to smart contracts in Ethereum is wrong ...

I changed them at a price of 0.083 BTC for 1 ether, maybe will climb, I'm not familiar with the technical picture, but for a few Satoshi, there is not much waiting to wait, even more, so that the end result is in dollars because the Bitcoin Is not a unit of account ... A Bitcoin is set to go up against the dollar powerfully.

Yes, I believe in the power of smart contracts and I think I will work hard in this direction in the future, but as if the Etherium is Myspace of the crypto. By introducing SegWit into a Bitcoin, it will be able to support smart contracts through side chains. The lessons of ether will be bitterly taught and I hope they are respected.

I may be wrong, but I believe I made the right decision ...

This was a vulnerability in a 3rd party wallet and only one aspect of that wallet not in the Ethereum network.

Comparing Ethereum to myspace? I think you are wrong.
