Recently I made a mistake while upgrading my dash wallet, coins purchased at around 2$, this forced me to get into contact with some of the people from the dash team to get myself sorted. I was surprised at how helpfull and informative these folks where. Showing a video with monero dev doesnt make you scratch your head? Also after having lost more than a couple coins on genesis mining I fail to understand what exactly you understand a scam. @thedashguy seems to make some valid points but im sure there is more to this story than we are being told. Having said that I think dash is a good altcoin, like bitcoin its had its controversies and problems but only time will tell what will happen. Have a great day!

Im challenging your position on this post and questioning why you are promoting a mining program that we all know is a bottomless pit of lost coins I was expecting a more elaborate reply from somebody with a 72 rep.
if you don't trust Genesis Mining then don't buy any hashrate from them. I earn bitcoin profit everyday with Genesis. The Iceland mining farm is way more impressive than anything DASH can show.
