EOS is a blockchain based system that enables the development, hosting and execution of decentralized applications know has dApps. They provide a complete operating system for dApps focused on the web providing services like authentication, cloud storage and server hosting.

Autentication
The EOS network is a platform for apps that let the dev use a full-feature authentication system. The latest EOS update have enable the ability to share database access between accounts and the ability to store user data on a local machine outside the blockchain.

Cloud
The server hosting and the cloud storage are part of the EOS system, meaning that the dapps devs can build and deploy apps and web interfaces with hosting, cloud storage and download bandwidth provided by EOS.

The Future
Because EOS is an environment where anyone can develop their own dapps, the community seems very interested. This will increase the value of this token over time. This is a very useful platform and certainly the future of the blockchain and the fintech industries.

When launch on June 26th of last year, the global position of this coin was 717 with an unknown capital market. Six month later, this coin was positioned 14th in the world. A few position above from Zcash on the 19th position and a few positions below Ethereum Classic in the 12th position.

Right now, EOS is in the 5th place with a market capital of over 7 billion dollars. Right above Litecoin in the 6th position and a market capital of over 4 billion and under Bitcoin Cash (4th)with a market capital of over 12 billion. In just one year this coin has displaced many popular coins like ZChash, Monero, and many more. Pretty amazing huh?
Even though, Cryptocurrencies are well known by their volatility the future of this coin seems very promising. Any coin that in a YEAR have scaled to the top five positions is worth keeping an eye. Definitely, this EOS platform is establishing the future of programming and how applications are made. Personally, I am very exited to keep studying this crypto and its platforms capabilities.
