What is it?

It’s a beer related cryptocurrency project. Headquarters are at:

Long story short, the team will spread the word around breweries and if they accept to get involved different beer will have a QR code underneath the bottle cap (what about cans, I wonder?). You will scan the code and get Beercoin (BCBC) in your wallet.

Now that you have it, you can use it to purchase to purchase more beer just with your coins. Beer circle jerk, you wonder? Well, there are other things you can do with your coins such as donate it to charity, buy beer related merchandise, or simply speculate on the market and exchange it for BTC when you want that special beer which for some reason can’t be bought with crypto.

How to get it?

ICO should be soon, it was planned for March 2018, so let's wait for the official announcement. The exact roadmap is being updated at the moment.

The team expanded!

Felix Görlach, Jasmin Armbrüster, Benedikt Tröster and Patrick von Steht joined the team. Jasmin is into ciders and it's always nice to see both genders on the roster. Other top picks by the team are Bayreuther Hell and Flensburger. Wouldn’t be my choices, but hey, we are all different!

I’m hoping they do a live you tube video interview or a talk. Just an idea.

Keep in mind ETH price is rather low now. Maybe a better bang for the buck at the moment if you decide to buy in the ICO.
