What can we expect when Verge's Wraith Protocol is released ?

I'm still fairly new to the crypto markets, but I've been trying to do as much research as I can. Can anybody comment on what effect the Wraith Protocol will have on its market cap, and how it will change consumer opinions on it ?
Ever since McAfee tweeted about Verge, we've seen a meteoric rise in the price of the coin followed by a dramatic dip. Now it is slowly making its way back up. Right now, what I'm worried about is that people are getting hyped for the Wraith Protocol and buying more Verge, but after it is released, people are just going to sell again.
