Buying And Selling $INDIE On Bitshares (or any other token/currency listed)

So at this point you should have some Bitcoin (BTC) sitting in your account on Bitshares
As in Part 2 you now need to use the exchange to buy & sell. The same process will work for any currency pair that is available.
- Click on "Exchange" in the top menu.
- On the right of the screen make sure "Show star only" is deselected and type in "INDIE"
Just below where you typed "INDIE" you will see the available currencies that INDIE can be traded for. You can click on each of these to see the latest information.
Unfortunately at the time of writing this post there are no sensible offers using Bitcoin (BTC) so if you want to buy $INDIE you will first have to buy some BTS (Bitshares) and then buy the $INDIE with those.
As $INDIE becomes more popular you should be able to trade directly with BTC.
So to buy BTS with BTC you need to type "BTS" into the box instead and then click on the "open.BTC" tab as follows:
- Now click on the "BTS" information line (the first one) and you will be taken to a screen that is similar to the one you used on Cryptopia in Part 2:
So again you have the choice to either buy immediately using the offers that are already waiting or put in a buy request at a value you are happy with.
To buy immediately click on the top offer under the "BUY ORDERS" heading and then select the amount of BTC you would like to sell. This is exactly the same process as we went through in detail in Part 2) so if there isn't sufficient quantity on the top offer you will need to click on a line farther down.
Then click "BUY".
Now you should be the proud owner of some BTS!
Buying $INDIE With BTS
Now you can repeat the procedure with the BTS / $INDIE pair in the same way. This procedure can be used for trading any pair available. So you can, for example buy and sell both STEEM and SBD (using open.STEEM and open.SBD).
Type in INDIE to get the available markets and click on the "BTS" tab and you will see the latest information:
Now click on the information line to see the latest offers:
and so on until you have your shiny new $INDIE.

I think most people will give up the will to live but it's a good way to learn with some crypto that didn't actually cost any real money if you use $MUSIC.

Oh for sure, if you can get some free tokens and play around with how it all works then why not. Maybe when new accounts are created on ACR website, an initial 10 INDIE can be given to the sign-upper? I guess that could be done through referral actually.
