The brain is the most complex organ in the human body, that is capable of processing loads of information. It produces our every thought, action, memory, feeling and experience of the world but yet it has a groundlaying weakness that can affect both the way it works (performance) and outcome (productivity).

The brain is very sensitive to interference or being distracted.

Let's say you were doing something on your phone but suddenly a message popped in and it happens to be a message you've been expecting for while now. It obvious that you gonna leave what you were initially doing just to give attention to that message. But in a case where you are doing something you love, it would be difficult to give way to distraction.

We as humans (with our brain) tends to allocate our attention to the things that we love/find interest in the most. It has been therefore said that it is difficult to do anything if you barely have focused attention long enough to code it into your brain

Attention is your key to open the door of productivity and better performance

ATTENTION, ENERGY AND VALUE

As Tony Robbins has said,
“Where focus goes, energy flows.”

Attention, in this context, is the all-encompassing perspective that you take on in life and the values that you choose to put your time and energy into. This is why we most times conclude that wherever our attention goes is what actually expands and grows larger in our lives.

If an individual has his/her 100% attention on something or a job, it becomes very easy to channel enough energy into it. And whatsoever much attention and energy is channelled into is more likely to yield a very Positive outcome. This positive outcome will in turn display the kind of value you have for that thing.

Jake Vartanian, the founder of the platform "NATIVE" through yoga understood how “attention, value and energy were actually the same thing". He also went further to making us understand in his conversation he had about community, how attention, energy and value from like minded individuals was able to drive the blockchain world.

People's common interest for Blockchain technology literally brought them together to form a community, which therefore led to the significant accumulation in monetary value of cryptocurrencies

Some cryptocurrencies grew in popularity, demand, and market capitalization. Others fizzled and faded away. It was evident that the technology itself had significant implications, but the technology alone did not logically justify why cryptocurrencies like “Dogecoin” were becoming valuable. Upon reflection, one meaningful distinction emerged: it wasn’t just the technology that was making the coin valuable — it was the quality, cohesiveness, and commitment of the community that was creating the value.

In essence, for a community to thrive, it has to comprise persons with "like minded interest"; that is, persons who already have their 100% attention and energy channelled to that community and are willing to sacrifice anything for it to have value.

Today, there are thousands of online communities who allow people with similar interests to come together and make themselves feel as part of something bigger. Despite the fact that many of these communities have been successful unified to form a group, yet have lost their values.

If the goal of the community does not directly achieve value, the community has no value

What do you really care about?
It is now left for you to explore various communities on the platform and find that which really suits you. Since you've found what catches your attention, you can now put your money where your heart is by buying their token. After token purchase, you can track its value and participate in community building.

Creating your Community

What should my community be all about?
Make the decision on what your community should be built around. If that has been decided you can now track and participate in building the value of the community tokens.

In Native's community, members have the rights to participate in;

Projects: Creation and support of projects
Voting: Voting on important topics to assist shape your community
Tasks: Claim task, earn money and add value to your community

NATIVE USER TYPES

Native is made up of two user types;
• Curators
• Members

Curators

These ones are referred to as the trusted administrators of the community.
Curators function as;

Vision bearers: They have the most thorough knowledge of a Community’s initial vision
Decision makers: Make decisions on what content would be beneficial for members to view and vote on through filtering of the irrelevant ones.
Dictator: Has the final say on what work created by the community members would be approved or denied.

Members

These are the key elements of the community because they are the ones to uphold the inherent values of the community. These members through membership joins community that aligns with their values, purpose and interest. Due to this membership that are allowed to partake in any form of decision making be it capital
deployment and critical decisions as they are the ultimate decision makers. A member could belong to as many communities as he/she pleases.

Note that members have the power vested in them to replace Curators that are failing in their duties

Native has built a very intuitive interface that would allow communities live to their full potentials as regards decision making.

Dashboard

Each community on the platform has it's own dashboard where all their activities are recorded. Communities are then accessed by user using Web3 wallets serving as both an identity and transacting mechanism within native.

Community Currency

Just as every community has it's own dashboard, so does every community has it's own currency with multiple inherent functions. Community currencies can be used as a

Medium of exchange within a community
Means to secure membership to a community and
Alignment of interests for all communities

Community funds

Every community has a community fund that it uses to induce grow and achieve goals. The growth of every community fund within a particular community depends on members either joining or participating in the community and Revenues recycling into the fund.

Collective Decision Making Tools

A tool used within a community to make decisions on projects, polls and tasks.

Fashion Tribe

Fashion has gotten to a stage that it is more than just dressing up in the morning. Now people go as far as attending fashion institutes such as fashion schools and tailoring outlets just make themselves stand out in the fashion world meanwhile others who can't afford this are left behind. While some already have this ideas about fashion but with little or no capital to start up.

From another viewpoint, some having attended fashion institutes and had the capital for start up but lacked that big platform to showcase their works (On the Runway).

Clearly these ventures need capitals and support!

The fashion tribe could act as an aider in promoting fashion. It would unify fashion-like minded individuals and creates a sense of combining multiple parts to form a single, greater whole, that would take full advantage of the resources raised by the community in providing capital and support for designers in a way that would yield productivity.

Tokens generated in this community can therefore be used as voting power to determine which of the above ventures would be given support, on what grounds should it be supported and also deliberate on how the project would be supported be it financially or physically.

For such a community to thrive, certain goals must be set. Organizing meet-ups (to share ideas) and runway shows (for members to exhibit their works), giving scholarship to persons who are wants to attend fashion institutes and setup fashion education program are few of the things that needs to be accomplished for this community to thrive.
