Documenting the history of the Crypto evolution

The first week of February. The Internet explodes with the Puerto Rico News focusing on Brock Pierce and the so-called Puertopia project: an attempt to build a city running on the cryptocurrency and smart contracts.

The seed is planted and now the community is discussing whether Puerto Rico is just a tax paradise or the new crypto sandbox capable to incubate the crypto startups coming out from the US. Lots of questions remain open and require further investigation.

Navigating between the opinions Kirill Kich and Kich Media buy the tickets to visit the island in March for the Puerto Crypto blockchain conference. We will talk to the governor who will give a speech, sharing the stage with the crypto rock-stars, meet with the local community and ask a lot of questions.

If Puertopia is real, we might be witnessing the beginning of the New World.

Why we do this

Would you go to Palo Alto, the land of strawberry farms to join a group of geeks building computers in a garage in the mid 70s? Would you join the movement when there is barely anyone walking? If so, you’d find yourself in the 1.5%-3% of super early adopters space which dares to dream big and execute their vision. Despite all of the hype following the crypto summer of 2017 we’re still in the super early adaptors stage with the Cryptocurrencies.

The emergence of the Crypto Space and Community supporting it blends the barriers between economy, culture, money, self-expression, political, and social aspects of our life. What some may see as ‘just another tulip mania’ might be the cultural phenomenon defining the course of the history of the 21st Century.

With the cryptocurrency movement expected to hit the mass adoption in 2019 and 2020, we at Kich Media realize our unique opportunity to tell the story of the pivotal moment in the history of Humanity. Puertopia or Sol might be a visionary movement that builds a crypto version of the Silicon Valley (unless it’s one of the biggest scams in the history). Our documentary investigation will be focusing on presenting the thoughts from both sides of the spectrum, to educate the viewers on the most current state of things.

We want the truth!

And if there is one thing that we’re absolutely sure of is that living in the time of fundamental changes when the new world paradigm is pushing out the old one we, the creators, bear responsibility for documenting the history for the new generations to come.

Puertopia is the film we do out of love for innovation. We have a minimum budget available out of our savings and loans we took. We’re not the rich crypto-millionaires, we’re just a couple of young and hungry entrepreneurs trying to leave our mark in the history. Some may call us romantics and dreamers, but we believe in it and ready to go all in this time.

We’re currently looking for volunteers, evangelists and sponsors.
