How do you introduce your friends, family and co-workers to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies?
I've been following Bitcoin since 2013 and bought my first portion of it soon after. Once I got a sense of what it was and what it was capable of I began encouraging my friends to take a look into it. In those days it was even more of a challenge. Now, its a bit simpler, but it can be scary for many people.
What website and/or videos do you recommend I share with people?
There is an introductory movie explaining bitcoin on its own site (the one where you download a local wallet, believe it was bitcoin.org) that explains it very well. Otherwise just show them the price of one year ago and then the one from today, that allways tends to pique people's interest.
