Growing up I was the oldest boy in my family. My brothers looked up to me for guidance and advice and I felt like a good role model. However, throughout the years, my younger brother become more and more savvy and could quickly adopt better habits that earned him more money. His ability to change quickly with the times and role with the punches proved to me that being flexible and current are very important qualities.

This is the very same superiority Litecoin has over Bitcoin! Big brother Bitcoin will always be head honcho because it was first, but we must not be too swift to discount the value of Litecoin. It has a cohesive community of members that can readily agree on future actions and such can implement better technology, more quickly from community consensus. It has adopted SegWit and will soon adopt lightning network, once again staying one step ahead of the curve.

Litecoin may have faster block processing times, but that is not what is going to keep it at the forefront of crypto. Litecoin really, simply is the testbed for new Bitcoin blockchain technologies, and thus will always be a very important and integral part of anything Bitcoin.

It is difficult to place a value on any cryptocurrency, but it just seems that Litecoin may be undervalued at 2 billion dollars when comparing it to big brother Bitcoin at 47 billion dollars. For a great coin that is faster than Bitcoin, more scalable than Bitcoin and has the long history of Bitcoin, Litecoin feels inexpensive.
