Jump to the moon
Grab the bull by the horns
It is a wet and grey morning outside of my window, and today I started my initial sketch for a larger painting I will be creating over the next month. The main subject in the painting is a leaping bull, so I have spent a fair bit of my morning studying photographs of bulls and laying down some initial lines.
I blocked in some colour to give me an indication of how these might work on the final painting. I went for a bold red as the background colour, as I'm planning to keep the bull quite light.
Magical Bitcoins
Taking inspiration from a digital collage I created, Grab the bull by the Bitcoins, I have given this bull some special Bitcoins between his legs. The Bitcoins may give him the boost he needs to jump to the moon. But is that the moon in the picture or the sun? I guess he won't find out until he reaches it. The moon may be made of cheese, but the sun can burn. Maybe the bull doesn't know the story of Icarus who ignored instructions not to fly too close to the sun, the wax in his wings melted and he fell out of the sky and plunged into the sea where he drowned. I hope it is the moon though, much tastier.
Down below the people look up to the bull, well most of them. Some hold up their forks, others attempt to touch the bull, and some try to fly.
Little spheres of light make their way up to the sky, floating on the breeze higher and higher. These spheres may be made of something stronger than soap, maybe they will never burst.
"Hey, diddle, diddle,
The cat and the fiddle,
The cow jumped over the moon;
The little dog laughed
To see such sport,
And the dish ran away with the spoon."
That nursery rhyme was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw it. It looks pretty good...good luck with the full painting!
To the moon!
Hey, diddle, diddle,
Watching the crypto riddle,
The bull jumped over the moon;
The little Ledger laughed
To see such a sight,
And the chain ran away with the fork.
Beautiful this fine art
This painting when I see almost
Outside the range of covalent currencies
People and the bull in the circuit compete to get to the top

Fantabulous! I love your sense of humour with the bitcoins lol!
I'm now thinking I could have made them a bit bigger. Inflation.

Excellent, thank you @gvand.
You are welcome! :-)
I love it ! :) There is some Picasso in that leaping bull and those flashy colours
Oh yes! There is definite abstraction with the angular lines- and of course Picasso was know for his bulls.
Yep :) i live near Malaga, his hometown, where there is one of the museum dedicated to him. Its fascinating. By the way, may I attract your attention to the account of my friend @bacinilat ? She just started and is also into art and drawing and painting, maybe you'll like it :)
