Development of ONO social

ONO social app has been updated and it has become a lot more attractive to use. I wonder when Steemit will be upgrading. I am bored of seeing the old UI of Steemit.

The team of ONO has been working very fast and updating its users with the development. It has also launched ONOTs to the first exchange last month. Currently it is trading on Etherdelta and Kucoin.

The app still give unreleased ONOTs and we have to wait until we can use them. In the meantime, the developers have done a great job in adding new features and new look to the app in a very less time. Although most of the features are still under development but one can see the progress. Checkout the new features below.

Design

I personally found the new orange look and design of the interface very good. I don’t know if steemit is working on their mobile app, but it would be great we have atleast a simple designed app.

Marketing

They already have referral program going on from the starting and it has attracted many users. For every successful referral, you get 200 ONOTs and the refered person also gets some ONOTs.

They also have a mission section where you have to complete daily tasks to earn ONOTs. These things keep the users engaged in the app and also making ONO social earn from the third parties. The mall section doesn’t work and pop up comes up with “Coming soon” message.
Comparing to steemit.com, Steemit.com doesn’t have any referral program and I doubt if it has any marketing strategy.

Other services

These are the extra services which ONO provides but they are in development and will be available in near future.

I still prefer steemit over ONO because of its community. I find steem community more interactive and helpful than ONO. The language barrier could be the reason for that as most of the posts on ONO is in Chinese and that limits me from interacting on ONO.

I hope ONO attracts more users who write in English so that it can have more English content and steemit develops faster and introduce new features to be able to compete with others in this space.
