RE: Crypto is the Data Breach Solution
Decentralization is what we need to be touting.
The centralized system is wrong on so many levels. At the data level, it allows for breaches that expose people's information to those who have ill intent. The dark web is littered with data that is for sale.
Also, in terms of the enslaving mechanism, centralization, especially of the money supply means that mankind is at the mercy of a few. Now, with crypto, basically anyone can create and distribute money. That is a game changer.
As early adopters, part of our responsibility is to spread the word about the dangers that exist for the average person who remains in the existing model. We need to offer up the alternatives as they arise.
STEEM is one of those alternatives.
I remember back in the "early days" when I first heard about widely held decentralized cryptocurrencies. I immediately fell in love with the idea. For someone who radically supports grassroots democratic values, it's a foregone conclusion! As you say, STEEM is one of those alternatives, and we might even say the best of those alternatives!
I think you might like this...even though the pricing action of STEEM is a bit dark, there are some things going on that might help.
Here is a post I made...that I think will put a smile on your face.

Of course the link to the developers might also turn that frown upside down.
Looks like I've got some studying to do!
