RE: Could Ethereum Be Made Obsolete By The New Decentralized Smart Contract Platform EOS?

in #crypto7 years ago

ICO's are the new OTC "Pink Sheet" stocks.

Very few make it to the "Big Board". Most go to zero and get delisted. Could EOS make it? Who the hell knows. With the recent SEC announcement, not filtering for U.S. investors means huge liabilities.

Even cutting that out of the pie, you still have to contend with the real risks of having visible names as head of the project. They are subject to the same nefarious forces if their token is perceived as a threat to the banking cartel.

That's why ETH's Vitalik is a walking accident waiting to happen. You don't put your name on something like that without having some way to protect yourself. And even then, it may not be enough.

Just looks like a big cash-grab to me, and there won't be enough "chairs" when the music stops.

I'd also remember that Jeff entertains flat-earth theories and thinks all doctors are evil, for some reason. I like Jeff, but some of his views are way beyond even the quartz-crystal new age hippie stuff you see circulating on the internet.
