Are Those Moon Coin Faucets Worth Your Time? Day 3

With crypto prices down in the dumps, I am wondering if it might not be worth it to start using coin faucets to pick up a little bit of free coinage. Now, I know that the legitimate sites only reward you with TINY micro payments of crypto; but I want to know how quickly those tiny amounts can add up if one is diligent in claiming them.

The faucets that I will be using for this test are the Moon Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Litecoin, and Dash faucets. If you're interested in following along, here are links to my previous posts detailing how much I have made each day:

Day 2 Payouts

The plan for today was to claim every 6 hours in order to see if there was an increase in my claim rate per minute of wait time. My first claim of the morning came after almost 13 hours of wait time, because I forgot to set my alarm for the middle of the night. I was also able to make 2 more claims right around the 6 hour mark. I will disregard the first claim as an outlier for today's rate calculations in order to get more accurate data on the 6 hour wait time.

I have also decided that including the bonuses in my rate calculations is reducing the accuracy of my data, so I will recalculate everything based on my base claims.

Claim Rate per minute - ~24 hr wait (updated):115 Satoshi ÷ 1312.12 min = 0.087644423 Sat/min
Claim Rate per minute - ~12 hr wait (updated): 196 Satoshi ÷ 1500.13 min = 0.130655343 Sat/min
Claim Rate per minute - ~6 hr wait (updated): 160 Satoshi ÷ 744.55 min = 0.214894030 Sat/min

So, we're still seeing a pretty good increase in rate of return by claiming more often.

Claim Rate per minute - ~24 hr wait (updated):0.55 Doge ÷ 1310.87 min = 0.000419569 Doge/min
Claim Rate per minute - ~12 hr wait (updated): 0.90 Doge ÷ 1500.43 min = 0.000599828 Doge/min
Claim Rate per minute - ~6 hr wait (updated): 0.74 ÷ 747.53 min = 0.000989927 Doge/min

That is a dramatic increase!

Claim Rate per minute - ~24 hr wait (updated): 5329 Litoshi ÷ 1311.13 min = 4.064432970 Litoshi/min
Claim Rate per minute - ~12 hr wait (updated): 9063 Litoshi ÷ 1500.65 min = 6.039382934 Litoshi/min
Claim Rate per minute - ~6 hr wait (updated): 7258 Litoshi ÷ 746.90 min = 9.717498996 Litoshi/min

Another big rate increase.

Unfortunately, I don't have the data to calculate a rate per minute for the Dash Faucet {:o(

Conclusion

I am still seeing a large increase in my claim rate per minute by reducing my wait time. Tomorrow, I am going to attempt to claim every 3 hours to see if the trend continues. Of course, that all depends on what all I have going on.

Are you interested these Moon Coin Faucets?

Coin faucets are great first step into the world of cryptocurrencies, as long as you understand that they are not intended to make you super rich. You can, however, earn small amounts of crypto, and learn the ins and outs of using digital wallets.

If you want to try these Moon faucets out, the first step is to open up a CoinPot Microwallet. It's free, easy, and very beginner friendly.

Next, you'll need to sign up for each individual faucet by clicking on the links below:

Moon Bitcoin: http://moonbit.co.in/?ref=5eb27577daf9
Moon Dogecoin: http://moondoge.co.in/?ref=562daa6a250d
Moon Litecoin: http://moonliteco.in/?ref=d06ccef3dcf2
Moon Dash: http://moondash.co.in/?ref=DC9D47F03F59

After that, you're all set! Just come back every so often to claim your free crypto. I recommend setting each faucet as a bookmark to make them easy to navigate to. Every time you make a claim, your coins will be deposited into your CoinPot wallet. Once you've accrued the threshold amount, you are free to withdraw them as you see fit!

If you decide to give it a try, let me know how it goes for you!

I use Cointiply (referral link: http://cointiply.com/r/X840 ), it's an hourly faucet that pays in "coins" that are pegged to the dollar (100 coins = 1 cent) rather than being an actual cryptocurrency. Only when you get a payout/withdrawal is it converted into actual crypto (either doge or btc).

The faucet doesn't pay much, 1/3 to 2/3rds of a cent each hour usually (they want you to do surveys and click ads to get them "coins"). I'm partial to it because until recently they had a mining "game" that you could make a decent little bit from (I pulled about $120 USD from it over the summer/fall) but it was bankrupting the site and they shut it down last week.
