Different Methods For Cashing Out Of Crypto
Posted below are some methods for cashing out your crypto living in the US where we don't have access to Visa Wirex / Visa Shake Pay debit cards, etc.:
- Order precious metals (gold/silver) with Bitcoin through one of the major bullion dealers - Jmbullion.com, Apmex.com, Providentmetals.com, Goldsilver.com, etc...
A) - take it to the local coin (or pawn) shop to liquidate into cash (tax laws vary in each state, but some states like Idaho don't tax gold or silver). The kicker is you don't get spot price for what you paid, but that amount may be insignificant depending on how much you're cashing in.
Sell bitcoin through Paxful.com or LocalBitcoins.com
Shop on Overstock.com or shop on Amazon.com using Purse.io
Make a classified ad on craigslist or local newspaper to exchange locally.
I'm also curious to find out how other people cash out (to pay some bills or cover other living expenses). Please leave your thoughts in the comments below
I personally use LocalBitcoin or QuadrigaCX as Coinbase is not available in my country to sell (Canada).
I prefer to cash out into metals, though I have not yet.
