Tech Update Jan-Feb 2019
Hi! Hope you had nice holidays. It seems like both parts of the globe had it all and now people are ready to start a new and progressive year. Besides, it’s the first day of the spring which seems to be the right timing to sum up the best since our last chat.
Paytomat Wallet
As you probably noticed, we had quite a few new features in our wallet. That’s not a surprise since that’s our major focus right now. We adjust towards the market which reminds us that people need high quality blockchain apps more than ever.
To start off, we added long-awaited Tron which got a decent exposure for us from Justin Sun with thousands of views. We believe this crypto has showed everyone it cannot be avoided anymore, especially after the launch of the dapps.
Next, we added NEM Mosaics, tokens based on NEM blockchain. This one made us the only multicurrency wallet that currently supports ERC-20, EOS and NEM based tokens in a single app. Congrats to us and to you, obviously.
On top of that, we expanded our language support. Now our wallet can be used on Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Russian languages. You might not notice that if you have English preferences on your mobile but if you’re somewhere from Asia, you may be surprised on how convenient it actually is.
Last but not least is a fiat-related feature. By using a third-party you can now withdraw fiat currency to your credit card. At the moment we support only Ukrainian banks but we’ll cover other countries in the near future too. To check this feature, you can click on withdraw balance within the currency you’re aiming to convert to paper money to (at the moment that is Bitcoin, Litecoin or Ethereum). Make sure you have enough balance in this coin, otherwise Withdraw button won’t show up.
And a bonus one, we reached 10,000 downloads on Play Market. Thanks for everyone who have installed and used our wallet. It means a lot to us.
Paytomat Vote
Due to an overwhelming number of requests to add new coins we created a side project specifically for handling that — vote.paytomat.com. We already published a detailed instruction on how to use it on our blog, so don’t skip it.
Our biggest belief is that community gets to decide which coin should be a part of our project, not just desires of our team. That’s why it is designed to involve people in using social networks as a core activity of voting process.
At the moment the top leaders are Tezos, Dogecoin and XRP. Want to change this, vote for your favorite coin now.
PTI token
We couldn’t finish this update without mentioning our token, so here we go.
During last two months we’ve been added on Codex and Chaince exchanges, as well as partner with EXMO that will allow to expand our financial services tenfold.
At the end of January we announced that we started PTI token distribution. Everybody who was active during closed pre-sale stage and followed the instructions properly, should already received their tokens. If not, reach out to us and we’ll work with you individually.
