With the world evolving rapidly, the need to depend on human intelligence wholly is fading. We all are familiar with the philosophy that "Humans are insatiable". As humans, we all possess that urge to gain more knowledge and make life as easy as possible and with the use of human intelligence, it is almost impossible to satisfy this growing need.
When I was quite young, the major impression I had about Artificial Intelligence, was as a result of what I saw displayed in many Sci-fi cartoons and Comic books. An image of a robot with super abilities was what came to my mind anytime the word "Artificial Intelligence" was brought up, but I've grown to realise that AI represent more than just what I thought when I was young. With AI, tedious and rigorous activities that could take weeks and sometimes months, could be done in hours. AI creates room for much work to be done in less time which is really amazing.
The Big Question
WHAT IS EFFECT.AI AND WHAT DOES IT BRING TO THE TABLE?
Effect.AI is a decentralized AI network
As we move into the future, AI is becoming a capable substitute for human intelligence in many scenarios. Corporations have been investing large sums of money into developing AI for years, in hopes of controlling the industry as well as minimizing labor costs in the near future. These technological advances are inaccessible to the average developers, users, and small businesses.
The Effect Network aims to create a fully decentralized ecosystem, whereby users can access these technologies without an overcharging intermediary.
The Effect Network aims to provide an effective media in which every interested user could be able to easily benefit from AI technology with no cost and optimum flexibility, thereby creating a special scenerio where the user is fully satisfied with the experience gotten from these services.
With optimum services being guaranteed, the Effect Network also aims at creating a platform whereby users easily apply the AI to great use, and this will lead to the major development of businesses globally through the use of this platform.
The development of Effect.AI has been planned to be in three phases. It is with great optimism and assurance I announce that the first phase of the development is scheduled to commence SOON.
WHAT IS THIS PHASE AND WHAT IS IT PLANNED TO ACHIEVE?
Phase 1: Effect Force (Decentralized Mechanical Turk)
The Effect.AI Mechanical Turk (EMT) platform is a decentralized, peer to
peer marketplace for tasks that require human intelligence. It provides similar features as centralized services like Amazon Mechanical Turk6, Fiverr7, Crowdsource8 and Guru.com9.
It is a crowdsourcing technology that enables
Requesters to submit tasks that can be completed by human agents
in exchange for compensation. Workers can accept tasks from Requesters at any time, anywhere and from any device. The tasks are called Human Intelligence Tasks (HIT). The providers of the HITs are called Requesters.
When a Worker completes a HIT, they are paid with cryptographic EFX tokens.
Requesters and Workers:
The effective network has made life very easy on the network for the requesters. The requesters have the opportunity to put tasks on the EMT platform to be completed
by workers. The requesters also have the opportunity to decide how many EFX the workers will get for each completed task.
The Workers can now complete the tasks from the requesters in exchange for the EFX
tokens tied to ease tasks worked on.
