What Is NXT?
NXT is the new generation of Cryptocurrency. t is a second generation cryptocurrency dat overcomes all shortcomings and limitations of Bitcoin. It can be seen as a complete monetary system, and it will be expanded like one.

NXT Highlights:
- NXT isn't build with the Bitcoin source code as a base. It was build from scratch in Javascript. That has been a very smart move, because more developers can work with Javascript than with C++, so there will be loads more people who will be able to contribute to the expansion of the NXT network.
- NXT won't need 'colored coins' or 'crypto equity' - it will be presented as an all-in-one dashboard you can use to control everything. This makes it more user-friendly than Bitcoin.
- A total of 1 billion NXT coins will be available. There will be no need for mining, since NXT is based on a Proof Of Stake mechanism and not on a Proof Of Work mechanism. As a result, NXT will be able to make superfast transactions.
- The NXT platform can be used to build new NXT cryptos.
