Small is positive, even in the world of cryptocurrency. Bitcoin has a circulating supply of a little over 16 million. For Ethereum that is only a little over 95 million.
All those new ICOs offer you a large number of coins for eacht 1BTC or 1ETC you invest. They make it feel like you're doing a good deal.
But it's not...
With such a large supply, it doesn't matter if you're buying dozens of them... They wil never make it to $10.
To become successful, an ICO or a coin needs to have a good circulating supply to create demand with investors. And that means anywhere between 60 million and 150 million.
Simply go over to Coinmarketcap and take a look around. The most successful cryptocurrencies have a circulating supply of 150 million or less.
Important Investment Tip
When you want to invest in a crypto, it is a good idea to check the circulating supply. The smaller it is, the better it is going to look in your wallet after a couple of months.
