Bid bots for noobs
I usually read through the introduction post of all of the Bid bots and most of them claim to be bots that want to help minnows. Then I go through the comments and thats where irony comes to die. They are filled with complains from minnows of how they lost money on them. A lot of these bots are too big to even respond to these complaints.
A lot of these bots have a cap on max ROI but no cap on min ROI. Others have policy where they can remove the vote based on their arbitrary criterion and not give a refund. And some have this so called mixed mode which makes no sense to me.
But this is not a rant about bid bots, rather a shout-out to some of the bots that i think actually work to help minnows.
@profitbot, @profitbot, @oceanwhale, @dailyupvotes, @brupvoter
All these bots only give profitable votes. First 3 have a fixed ROI which is great for minnows and last two give a positive ROI. There may be some more that I have missed but I believe these 5 are doing great service to the community and noobs.
If you are planning to delegate SP, please consider delegating it to these bots. We need more bots like these in our community.
Thanks for putting this up. As a newbie, I really have no idea what upvoters work best. I have written a fair amount of content daily and sent SBD out to various upvoters and have hardly even seen my investment come back, let alone make a small gain.
