I'm a member in the Hungarian Microcoin community, and a few days ago one of the developers showed us his demo-project, the crypto accepting candy dispenser!

The MCC is really fast, transaction speed is under 1 sec, and it is network load independent. I quote the subscription of the dev:

"In the last 3 days I made a device which makes it possible for a machine to accept cryptocurrency. In the last few weeks I started to work with the first Hungarian cryptocurrency which has its own blockchain. It's based on the Pascalcoin, but the developers are working on interfaces for real world applications.

The device I created can react to a blockchain event, so if you send coins to a specific address, it will respond. In this case it's a candy vending machine. What else? So if you send 5 microcoins to an address, you get candy. Of course now it's only for demo, but the purpose of it is to create a device with a service and you can pay with cryptocurrency for a coffee or coke or whatever you can get from vending machines. It can be used even in arcade games.

Later there will be a display to generate dynamic QR codes, but now we have a static one. Open the app, select the payment and scan the QR code, then send the transaction. After a few second we have a candy! Let's see what I just did here. First I created a small circuit with a WiFi module and I connected a servo motor to it. Actually not this device interact with the blockchain directly, it communicates with a server I wrote. And then the server receives the info from the blockchain. If the server sees that a new transaction is coming, it sends a signal to this device, which gives a candy. S simple it is.

One part isnt made by me, which is the candy dispenser. I almost started to design something like this when I thought... there has to be some crazy person out there who designed a candy dispenser. I opened the Thingiverse and voilá... I was right. So I just 3D printed it.

So, the point is, you dont have to wait for the adoption. You can make it yourself! If you have a vending machine or coffee maker in your store, etc...
