Waltonchain controversy!
Waltonchain recently ran a promotion that would allow it's users and investors to win part of a giant pool equal to 565 WTC (or roughly $10,700), but they had a giant Faux pas. When the winner came forth and posted on twitter, thanking Waltonchain for their victory, there was just one small problem. The person who won was signed in to the Waltonchain official twitter account. The "winner" was an employee of Waltonchain.
Many of people have cried foul, saying that the campaign was rigged and not in any way random. Waltonchain has countered by making a video, showing how the selection was random and that it was truly random that a current employee won the giveaway.
People aren't buying it.
And people might stop buying it (the token).
They have gone on to apologize as well in an official statement.

It is possible that it was completely random, but it still doesn't look good. I truly do believe that Waltonchain will get hit hard by sell offs in the next few weeks (as shown by a 12% sell off in 24 hours), but most likely will recover. People make mistakes. I just hope instances like this don't cause more future investors in crypto to shy away, thinking all of them are corrupt.

Well time to buy some cheap walton!
What an incredibly stupid thing to do for a team which is overseeing a project with a 500 million market cap. All that for only 565 WTC, it's absolutely ridiculous. And even though it doesn't change any of the fundamentals of the token, the credibility of the team will be forever tarnished. Memes upon memes will follow from this, hah.
