Iagon - A Decentralised Approach To Cloud Computing and Storage
Introduction - Current State Of Data Storage
The days of stacking heaps of files in cabinets and locker rooms are far behind us . Lots of important files and documents have been lost due to fire outbreaks,natural disasters,building collapses,misplacement ,or even damage caused by rodents much to the dismay of the bearers .But as it is in the nature of man to always seek solutions to problems and strive to better his existence ,more effective methods of file storage were discovered , largely thanks to the advent of computers .
Yet again ,it wasn't quite long till we had to revisit the drawing board . Hardware and system malfunctions,human errors,software corruption, power failure, mechanical damages amongst others causes of data loss associated with computers showed that man was still far off from achieving a means of reliable data storage .
Just last year , I was opportuned to work briefly in the IT department of a Broadcasting company. In the month of May ,we were required to carry out frequent security checks as well as update all antiviruses on all the computers within the organisation as a prophylactic move to wade off attacks and data breaches from the then rampant "WannaCry ransomware cryptoworm" which affected over 300,000 computers running Microsoft Windows operating system , demanding for ransom in exchange for user's data . This is just one of the numerous data breaches of all time which can be read in this article.This highlights the level of inefficiency and unreliability associated with data storage on computer systems.What then is the way forward ?
As in the case of "in with the old, out with the new" , Cloud computing which is basically the use of network of remote servers hosted on the internet to store,manage and process data became the next best thing due to its high bandwidth, ease of data recovery,accessibility, cost savings amongst numerous other advantages. It isn't without perks however as major players in the industry such as Microsoft,Amazon,Dropbox,Apple,Yahoo have had their own fair share of cloud storage data breaches in recent times as can be seen here.
It wouldn't require hours of intense brainstorming to arrive at an earnest conclusion that the major challenge facing cloud storage and data storage as a whole is security .If they are less prone to hacks and malware attacks , then obviously, problem solved ! .Easy to say right ?
Revently, a team of experts took advantage of the decentralised,trustless, secure and transparent nature of blockchain technology to breathe a new lease of life to the cloud storage industry through their project ,Iagon which leverages the above stated features of blockchain technology to create a likewise decentralised,secure storage through a global supercomputer . Now let's take a closer look at what Iagon really is and what it has to offer to the cloud computing and data storage industry.
Why Iagon ?
Future analysis in the world of cloud computing and storage has shown that in years to come,a major alchemy will occur,most likely ending the dominance and oligopoly enjoyed by major players such as AWS,Google,Microsoft,Cloud and IBM. This era will be sparked by the dramatic increase in worldwide acceptance of major trends such as Artificial intelligence and Big data. Artificial intelligence algorithms require very high storage capacity, this is further pronounced by the fact that it has begun to find more and more applications in various aspects of human lives, hence ,the need for even more cloud computing services.
If there is a lesson to be learnt from previous attacks on cloud data ,it is the glaring fact that centralisation is definitely not the way out to actualising a secure means of data storage. It makes even more prone to attack since the internet host can easily be targeted . Iagon simply makes a meal of this by harnessing blockchain technology to create a decentralised global supercomputer which is formed by several multiple nodes or computers ,thereby making data less susceptible to hacks . This technology is what it calls the "Smart Computing Grid"and through effective interaction with
it's own artificial intelligence algorithm, "AI tracker" it is able to carry out a host of useful functions such as "effective management of a network of CPU and storage providers,distribution and allocation of storage as well as underused" resources .
Iagon is an ideal choice and very friendly for small scale businesses with limited resources ,offering services at very minimal costs without compromised standards. This will be a major step in restoring the required balance which has long diminished due to the dominance of major players like Amazon,Google,Microsoft,Dropbox etc which resulted in inflated costs of cloud storage services .A look at top firms which Iagon has partnered with in very short time since inception goes a long way to show that though there is a long way to go in the becoming a major force to reckon with ,the firm have obviously taken huge leaps in the right direction .
Tokenomics
The Iagon ecosystem thrives on IAG tokens ,which is used for transactions within the community .Users can trade unused data storage space to other users who need them for IAG tokens which can be easily exchanged for fiat currencies .
User Case
"Swifthands Incorporation" is a service provider located in New York City .Swifthands is accountable for the provision of data services in over 70percent of firms in New York and as such ,has quite a lot of data to deal with . Its choice was initially one of the conventional cloud storage platform up until it lost all its data and those of it's clients to a recent hack . This cost the company millions of dollars ,both in personal data lost and in compensation to client's data lost .
Yet, operation continues and it is charged with another task of finding a more secure platform for data storage . Swifthands then incorporates with Iagon ,a platform which possesses a "Secure Lake Data Technology" that prevents hackers from swimming through company's file amd databases despite managing to gain access .Problem Solved !

Summary
Data storage and security has always been and will remain a major concern of organisations ,from the lowest level to the apex . In a world where blockchain and artificial intelligence are fast taking over ,what will it be like entrusting your files on a platform harnessing both technologies ? It has become increasingly apparent that if we are to attain a secure and transparent means of cloud storage ,we must learn to embrace the concept of decentralisation .That being affirmed , Iagon is definitely the future .

The introduction.... You could improve on the flow. When writing, remove the constraints... Any distractions, and imagine you are talking with a buddy. When you are doing that... It flows effortlessly, like a river flowing downstream. Always try to capture that when writing. Like I just listened to one of your uploads, it had a natural flow. Strive to achieve that. Gradually, you will get there and keep on growing.
Also try to read through at least twice, and then read out if you have to....to get the flow.
Before starting, ensure you really understand the center theme.. What they are trying to achieve, and ensure you try to answer ALL the questions written.
Start strongly and try to finish strongly. Like what you tried to achieve here.
With regards to @originalworks
To me, finishing 1st, 2nd 3rd, etc... It's all luck and a matter of preference. Sometimes, the article in the 4th place has better quality than that in 1st...but perhaps, the team wanted something very brief, so the seemingly better article ended up in 4th. Don't be bothered about that. 1st to 10th is all luck/preference. But finishing in the top 20 is a skill.
If you can do all that, you will easily finish in the top 30, and then gradually creep into the top 20 consistently. Just enjoy your write-ups, yourself and have fun.
And oh, in writing generally, it's always better to stick to basic words.... Easier words that everyone can understand.

Agree with @solcross. The difference between the top spots is a matter of writing to the reader. My belief is that if one has the time to fully gauge what a client is trying to accomplish in a whitepaper, then a decently composed post has a very good chance of winning. Flash has its place, as does well written compositions, but understanding the objective seems critical for 80% percent of the sponsors.

For past several months Ive been reading a lot about AI and still it's first time I'm hearing about IAGON.
iagon has an interesting approach to help solve challenges which AI are currently facing.
So to summarize (Im not sure if I understood well). Iagon is not a marketplace for AI businesses, right? They are aming to provide cloud storage and processing power? Which obviously would reduce operating costs of running any AI?
That indeed would allow small businesses (within this industry) to move forward much faster.

I too haven't heard about Iagon prior to this but interestingly, I think it is a more futuristic approach to cloud storage than a present .
That's why the want to key into the rising AI technology ,not by providing a marketplace but by both providing a platform for storage of AI algorithms and by making use of it in powering that platform (AI tracker) .So obviously ,you're right ! Thanks for sharing your thoughts buddy :)
