👉 A U.S. citizen confesses to laundering millions in Bitcoin


A man from Los Angeles admitted to running a $25 million Bitcoin money laundering program and selling methamphetamine. U.S. News has reported that 25-year-old Kunal Kalra may be sentenced to life imprisonment.

The authorities claim that Kalra exchanged BTC and dollars between 2015 and 2017, ran a Bitcoin ATM, and confessed to dealing with drug dealers and other criminals.

Kalra also sold two pounds of meth to an undercover law enforcement agent. According to the report, he is also facing a money laundering charge in Texas that was filed earlier this month.
