Effect.AI Plans To Kick Off Phase 1: Effect Force
It's an age-old story that we've seen it play out my stories over the years, Geppetto trying to make Pinocchio think like a real boy. Since then we've simply introduced improved technology to this concept like we saw it in the matrix and terminator, having the artificial intelligence not only match us in terms of intellect but mimic us and then proceed to exceed us to our detriment.
More recently though seen a more empathetic tone towards AI in movies like Ex Machina and Morgan. Where they tackle the subject of AI and the dramatic shift it would take for an AI to balance its supercomputing with the complex thought processes we humans have developed over 1000s of years.
Regardless of progression in technology one principle has been a constant then it comes to thoughts of AI. We have an obsession with having these creations become as human and lifelike as possible.
These concepts have sat on the side of science fiction for many years now and to most of us, it seems like a far-off possible version of the future. However, it may not be as far off as you might think AI projects have grown in popularity both in Silicon Vallery and the world over and with the introduction of the blockchain, AI has been given an added layer of support for future development on a platform that can provide scale, one such project is Effect.AI.
What is Effect. AI
EFFECT AI is a decentralised Artificial intelligence platform that is powered by NEO and with the intention of becoming not just an AI but a full-service AI platform that allows users to use, buy, sell and trade AI based services on an open network, to create an AI economy of scale.

A phased approach
Since the launch fo Effect.AI and its token sale the team has been hard at work, putting those resources to good use and driving on to hit their first big milestone with the launch fo Phase 1 in their roadmap called Effect Force.
What is Effect Force?
Effect force is the start-up period of The Effect Network which will be an interactive commercial centre for tasks that require human intelligence. The mechanical turk enables anybody on the planet to perform tasks and assignments and get payment in return. It will give AI designers and organizations access to a large workforce as well as human insight and skills to help prepare AI algorithms.
Collaboration to create an AI
Think of this as a massive pool of data and everyone that contributes to it helps fill the pool and once enough data is compiled the Effect.AI network will absorb this data to try an understand the way we humans think and the logic behind the way we complete various tasks.
What Can Effect Force Do?
So enough about the technical stuff, what can this baby actually do? That's what we're all here for right?
Human Verification
AI's may be smart in many cases when it comes to logic and pattern recognition of certain tasks but its completely useless in some cases and need help from us to get set them straight, this is where human verifcation comes in.
Real life use case for Human Verification help on AI
Let's say there is an image uploading website for photos of flowers. They are geared towards a wide audience of users. The company needs to ensure that the photos uploaded are indeed flowers and not something else like cars. For an AI to be able to accurately assess the nature of the images it needs to be trained and have a lot of data and statistics to use as its foundation. This is a great example where Effect M-Turk could solve the issue.
By assigning tasks to users, the company can ensure that the website content is relevant and slowly train its AI to become better at identifying the nature of photos by testing it and comparing it with results that human verification attains.
Testing
If you've worked in tech you'll know that no software is perfect or full proof and needs constant itteration in order to improve performance. This is why companies that produce software have teams of testers who run through programs, test code, write codes to test code and make sure it operates at peak performance.
Unfortunately, we humans only have so much time to sit and test a product and can't always replicate every anomaly in the system and is a great place for AI to come and help lighten the work load.
Real life use case for AI testing
AI systems revolve around continuous testing and improvement. Using the same example of a flower image uploading website, the AI software would improve over time as it is tested against human verified data.
A commercial software may be designed to be used by millions of people. Before releasing it to the public, companies could utilize Effect Force (decentralized mechanical turk) in order to find bugs that are hard to see in a regular test environment. Some bugs could happen only one in a million times but be a major security flaw. By paying users on the Effect Network, companies can prove that their software will be able to withstand heavy usage.

Exciting.AI
Effect. AI phase one definitely has some real-world merits that could save companies millions even billions on maintaining systems as well as helping innovation as AI begins to take a lot of the grunt work out of things and allow humans to think more strategically and out of the box.

such a helpful bot :)
Hi
I just had a chance to read your post fully. little bit to late to be able to upvote. sorry
Really good piece of work. Im following all originalworks contenst and I know that this is second time they want people to write about effect.ai.
competition seem to be fierce and I must admit that your post is one of my fav so far.
You mind if i would ask you few questions?
cheers,
