Coming Into Big Crypto Changes Soon

in #crypto6 years ago

Its been a rather dry crytpo season so far this year to say the least. We come off our highs of 20k and hold steady at 7k but besides that no movement has happened at all really in the crypto world. Its just blah stagnate and nothing is happening. However FINALLY we have some things to look forward to and momentum should return for the rest of this year.

So here is what we have to look foward to in the near future.

Bitcoin Lightning and Zap

Bitcoin lightning has honestly been doing well. While slow on adoption it is helping the network greatly and does well with smaller micro transactions the tend to clog up the network.

ZAP wallet part of Lightning network is getting an update where automatic updates will now be a thing. This should help speed along adoption and adjust for fixes where need be.

Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash

Hard fork! It seems like last year it was all about the hard forks it was seriously non stop. This year not so much but we are gearing up for two big ones.

Constantinople hardfork is coming up which is part of Metroplis it is slated to release in October but many questions are coming up about how to deal with the existing systems in place. My bet is still very heavy on ethereum.

As for Bitcoin cash which I hate talking about because its junk in the first place :D the ABC hardfork set for November is not supported by Craig Wright or nchain, and have plans to push forward on their own with bitcoin SV Satoshi Vision which to me is a huge BS campaign yet again by bitcoin cash. Who are they to speak for someone else.

If we look back to last year, all the news around the various hardforks served as a catalyst in some way or form to the demand surge we saw towards the end of the year. However, this time around it may be more of a realization of how much better certain assets already are instead of starting something new. If so, true blockchains and protocols that are functioning, growing and have adoption (like #STEEM for instance) should outperform the market.

BTC holding nicely above the 7,200 mark. Hopefully we can see an increased volume to push past 7,500. The shorts are lined up however so it will be quite the battle. Let's go BTC.

You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:

So here is what we have to look foward to in the near future.
It should be forward instead of foward.
